Have this in mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,
who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing
to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the
likeness of men. And being found in human form, He humbled Himself and became
obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Therefore, God has highly exalted Him
and bestowed upon Him the name, which is above every name, that at the name of
Jesus every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2: 5-11 (NASB)

After He agonized in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus gave Himself
in total obedience to God’s will, even to death on a cross. God exalted Him
for that servant obedience. Pray that each of us and our church will be able to
release our fears and doubts, our insecurities and anxieties to God, and move
forward in total obedience to His will for our lives.
